You bring the love, we’ll bring the details.
There are a lot of wedding planners out there. Some are true professionals who continuously invest in their craft.
And some... well, let's just say they picked it up as a hobby and ran with it.
(and maybe a snack or two).
When you work with The Gaither Collective you get a whole team in your corner. People who obsess over the details you wanted so desperately, who catch the things you didn't know to look for, and who make sure that when your wedding day finally arrives, all you have to do is be present for it.
We are firmly, proudly, in the first category.
unapologetically
We are firmly, proudly, unapologetically in the first category.
What started as one woman with a passion for making sure couples actually got to enjoy their wedding day has grown into something so much bigger than that. A whole team of wedding planners in Greensboro NC. A whole collective. And a name that finally reflects it.
Welcome to The Gaither Collective.
Same heart. Bigger vision.
Hi, I’m Arnisha Gaither! Owner & Lead Planner over here at The Gaither Collectiveof your life.
I'm a Type A, down to earth, refreshingly honest, and chronically hungry Aries who started this business because I genuinely love showing up for people on the most important day of their lives and being the glue that holds everything together.
My "hobbies" mostly consist of coming up with new business ideas, my guilty pleasure is literally just food, and I swear by one thing above everything else:
Do whatever makes YOU happy and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks.
(which by the way is exactly the energy I bring to every single couple I work with.)
Okay so full transparency? I am a Type A, detail obsessed, born to plan kind of person. So when I got engaged, planning my wedding wasn't stressful. It was literally a dream come true. I was in my element. Color coding spreadsheets, researching vendors, hand painting fairy lights to place in every single windowsill of the venue because I wanted every detail to feel intentional and completely ours.
I was made for this and I knew it.
What I wasn't made for was doing it completely alone. My bridal party wasn't much help, so it was largely just me. And as much as I loved the process… there were moments where I desperately wished I had someone truly in my corner. Someone to bounce ideas off of. Someone to tell me my vision was going to come to life exactly the way I imagined it.
I planned my entire wedding without anyone truly in my corner.
And on the day itself? My mom and I set everything up together. While I was on the dance floor celebrating the best night of my life, she was quietly tearing it all down.
Oh… and those fairy lights I had spent hours on? Nobody ever even turned them on. Not out of carelessness. Just because without someone dedicated to the details, even the most beautiful ones slip through the cracks.
And I thought, if I, someone who genuinely loves planning, still needed someone in my corner... imagine how much others do.
So I became her. I always knew I was going to be an entrepreneur. I just always assumed it would be a restaurant. But falling in love with the wedding planning process and realizing firsthand what happens when you don't have the right support, that changed everything.
this is exactly where I'm supposed to be.
I had never attended a wedding and only had a month to plan mine so the stress was real. She helped me relax on my special day and got everything moving in the background.
Arnisha was incredibly professional, highly organized, and her communication was clear and consistent. As a photographer, I truly appreciate working with coordinators like Arnisha who care deeply about their couples and their vendor team.
She is so organized, friendly, and worth every penny. Her time management and talent cannot be matched.
The Gaither Collective is a female led, black owned wedding planning collective and an advocate for women's rights who believes that love is love, no exceptions. We work with queer couples, we celebrate all love stories, and we will never apologize for it.
